The sacraments are visible signs of God’s grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church. Through these sacred rites, we encounter the living Christ and are strengthened in our faith journey. At St. Lucy/St. Bernadette Catholic Church, we joyfully celebrate the seven sacraments, which nourish, heal, and guide us in our relationship with God and one another. Whether you are preparing for a sacrament or seeking more information, we are here to accompany you on this sacred journey.
Baptism
Baptism is the first sacrament of initiation, through which we are welcomed into the family of God. It is a moment of rebirth, where we are cleansed of sin and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Whether for infants or adults, Baptism marks the beginning of our lifelong journey with Christ.

Eucharist
The Eucharist, or Holy Communion, is the source and summit of our Catholic faith. In this sacrament, we receive the Body and Blood of Christ, strengthening us to live out our mission as disciples. It is a profound encounter with Christ's presence and a celebration of God's love for us.

Confirmation
Confirmation is the sacrament that deepens the grace received at Baptism. Through the anointing with oil and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, we are strengthened in our faith and empowered to live boldly as witnesses of Christ in the world.

Reconciliation
Reconciliation, or Confession, is the sacrament of healing, where we seek forgiveness for our sins and experience God’s mercy. Through the priest, we receive absolution and the grace to begin anew, restoring our relationship with God and the Church community.
Confessions are always available by appointment, please contact the office or Fr. Matt Duclos: matthew.duclos@rcda.org
Anointing of the Sick
The Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament of healing and comfort. Through prayer and the anointing with oil, the Church offers strength, peace, and grace to those facing illness, injury, or old age. It is a reminder that God is with us in our suffering and offers His love and healing.
For emergencies, please call the parish office. You may be greeted by the answering service who will pass along your message.
